Q"s baptism

Ryan baptized Quentin on Oct. 12th.  They are well loved since they are the friendliest people around, so they had a LOT of people at this baptism.  It was a darling site to see.
LOVE these two.
Kaleb and Q are best buds, can you tell why, hahaha!  They are a lot alike.
Robyn and Mel, old High School buddies.

Everyone enjoyed chatting away.....and Robyn liked to pretend she was having amazing convo's, hahaha!  Her favorite thing to do!
And then we all laugh about it.  So thankful for these ladies and their fun personalities.  Sister's are so much fun!
LOVE this sweet family!!!  They are so much fun to hang out with.  I love them to pieces!
Wya and Tiff, couple of cuties.
Tiff got me and Ryan too, love my brother!!
I'm so grateful we were able to attend Q's baptism, since we live further away it's not always possible.  So I was glad it just worked out.  Burke ended up having a v-ball game, so he wasn't able to come with us.  :(  But I'm happy the kids and I were still able to go.  I just love my family so much, we are so blessed to have each other.  They are such a strength to me, I'm so lucky.

bunnies...and more. :)

We had this fun surprise on our lawn Conference morning!  Hahaha.  It didn't take us long to gobble it all up, I know, crazy.  OK, we're still have a few squash left, they are so yummy!

Burke put this chicken wire up so the kids could put the bunnies out to play, this is really fun and those bunnies LOVE it too!

We got to snuggle in the hammock too, love it.

Hahaha, last random pic, Burke with a silly eye, I think Katelin took this pic of him.

Havin' fun

The other day the kids were playing hide and seek.  They could not find Kaleb anywhere.  Kaiya even looked right at him and then walked away, he just looked like a bag of garbage or something.  Hahaha!
There he is!  That was a good one, he even made a hole so he wouldn't die, GOOD BOY!
Here they are wondering where he is.
The bunnies liked the zucchini better than the carrots.
The weather has been perfect during the day, not hot or cold, wish it would last longer like this.
Emma, Kaiya and Katelin were playing cowgirls with their horses and bow and arrows the other day.  They all looked so cute, we had to snap some photos.

Kaiya and Katelin bundled up to go walk around outside before Conference started.  They are too cute.  They just walked down the road and played around in the yard.  I think they liked the excuse of getting out all of their winter stuff, I'm not that excited about it though.  Glad to see someone likes it!

MELON DAYS 2013

Everyone started showing up after the girls performed.  It was so much fun to see everyone pull up.  Yay for FAMILY!!!!!  Here's a quick run down of the weekend with LOTS of pictures.
Kaiya still had on her 80's outfit and Erin and Oaks tried out the princess tiaras.
Lots of music playing around in the house.

I loved having a campfire with it all nice out there!  Plenty of room for everyone to sit and chat....and chant like Erin, SO funny!

We thought this was so funny, all the boys stayed up "playing" together while the girls went to bed.
We went to the scout breakfast at the park that morning.  It was Kaleb's first year serving there.  So exciting!

The kids played around at the park for a bit afterward.

Then off to the parade.  Katelin and Kaiya got to ride on the Little Princess float and throw candy.

This helicopter flew by at the beginning of the parade and then came back super low and fast, it was awesome.
Robyn and Tiff having a funny conversation.  Robyn always fakes them when she see's the camera on her, Hahaha, she's such a funny lady!
Reagan and Kennedy were cracking up at the clowns speeding by.  It was so funny to watch them.
All the little princesses on the float.  Such a pretty bunch of girls.

Jordan is 12 and passed up Tiff, not a hard job, but it happened!  Crazy!
Ryan and Tiff tried on the crown...hmmmmm.

Ryan and dad laughing about something, loved to see their smiley faces!

 The Vetere Melon float!

Running home after the parade to get out of that dress.  Although she probably could have worn it all day and been just fine with it.
Tiff, Arik, Juli and Boston across the street.
The kids all sat and watched the singers and performers at the park later on.
The girls could perform their pageant talent if they wanted to.  Katelin did, but Kaiya did not.  Kate didn't know it was going to be on this big stage though and got a bit worried, but she still did it!  Such a brave little girl we have.  I was so proud of her.

Kaiya spent her money on this little poodle Marietta.  Katelin got a little horse one.
All of the 16 grand kiddos with the BIG Watermelon.
We went to the High School for pizza and partying for Quentin's b-day.
It was fun eating in the cafeteria with everyone!
Sally in her cheerleader outfit.  Hahaha, poor thing!

Arik was trying to bomb the kids, it was hilarious.
Riley and Kaiya would take cover under the ball bin and then chuck them back at him for more.
 The PINATA!!!!!

And Sally as a Pumpkin.  She wasn't sure about all of these outfits, but was nice about it all.
Another fun celebration come and gone.  We've loved having this tradition since we moved here in '07.
