I signed up to do Kaiya's Thanksgiving class party. When I got there her teacher, Mrs. Nelson, was still finishing up her Amelia Bedelia PBJ making party. It was so cute to watch. I didn't have much time because they needed to finish that up. But that was ok, it was fun. Each year they do an assignment where the kids have to write all of the exact instructions how to make a PB&J sandwich. Her teacher dresses up like the character in the book who does things exactly as she hears them. The kids take turns reading their instructions to her and she makes them a sandwich. It is hilarious and they get a pretty crazy sandwich if they didn't explain it just right. Too cute.
There was a lot of laughing.
Then we started our games. We played Don't Eat Tom! here too. The kids loved it.
Then we made the candy turkeys also. That's all we had time for then school was out. They had a half day to start off their Thanksgiving break.
Julissa's turkey.
I always love going to their classrooms and seeing them with their class. We had so much fun. I'm grateful for her teacher, she does an amazing job.

Thanksgiving at dads
We had Thanksgiving at Dad and Gail's on the 17th, Tiff's birthday. I was glad we could make it.
I found a lot of fun ideas to keep the kids entertained. Here are the turkey's they colored.
OOOoops, I forgot to turn the pic, here's the birthday girl!
Robyn needed some new profile pics for facebook, so here are a couple of my favorites. She's so cute!
Gail's dad, Riley, came to eat with us and brought his dog Andy with him. He was loving everyone.
We played Don't Eat Tom!!!
It's a Turkey veggie tray!!! Awwweeee, so cute.
Burke and my dad taste testing turkey and gravy.
Dad helped the kids make their turkey's out of gumdrops. What a bunch of crazy cute kids!
The hangout.
Tiff was just getting over being sick, so I didn't make the awesome raw cake I was going to make. But we still had to sing, so I stuck a candle in an orange and we sang!
We got a lot of shopping done also for our actual Thanksgiving at our house that next week. We spent time at my moms also. She watched the kids for us that Friday while Burke and I ran errands and went on a date. We saw the last Twilight movie, it was so much fun to just hang out together. We had a great trip.

Entertaining myself on long drives
I was all alone. The sun was setting and it was so pretty. AND I was bored. So this just happened. I just started taking pictures of whatever.
Hahahaha!
Hahahaha!
Fun with jumpropes
The weather has been so nice. The other day the kids were riding bikes around and then Kaleb ran in the house and grabbed the jump ropes. I thought that was cute they were going to jump rope too...nope. He tied their bikes together along with his scooter and they pulled him along. They each took turns being on the scooter and they each took turns getting hurt. But they had a blast!
Daddy Daughter Dessert Date
Kaiya and the Activity Days girls all planned this Daddy daughter date. Kaiya kept it a secret from him for a long time, she was so excited while they were planning it all. They had so much fun. I loved hearing all about it when they got home. Burke said he really enjoyed it. They even learned some line dances together. And the girls put on a little talent show and skit. So cute, I love that she had a great date with dad. What a couple of cuties!
SNOW
We have had snow once her in GR this year and it wasn't a lot. But the kids got in their snow gear, and played and played. I think Kaleb is holding all the snow in our yard in his snowball. Hahaha!
DIY family pics
I have a remote for my camera so we decided to go and take a family pic. Everyone wanted a turn with the remote and it brought out some craziness.
Tried to get a photo of us two and Kaleb's eye showed up. Hahaha!
We finally got a couple good ones.
And then some more craziness.
Then we headed up a hill to get some silhouette pics.
Then we took the kids to Burger King. I loved just having a spur of the moment photo shoot and a fun night together as a family. It was so nice.
