Fun Day

Some friends invited us over today and we had so much fun! They have a bunch of land near the Book Cliffs. It was so cool taking pictures of the girls jumping on the trampoline and those cool Cliffs in the back ground. They ran through the sprinklers and ate Otter Pops, then played inside with toys. A kids dream day huh? They also just got some little baby lambs. Her kids named them Chocolate and Vanilla. My kids are usually scared of animals for some reason, but they really had fun with these lambs. They also played with the kittens and saw their cows. I felt like we were at a mini baby animal days in Logan. It was great.

Katelin's b-day (cont.)

Katelin wasn't feeling to well on her b-day so we gave her the cake on Monday instead. She loved it of course! It was a little bear cake just for her before she dug in. Kaleb and Kaiya had fun watching her eat it. She loves walking and pretending to talk on the phone. She likes to sing in her high pitch voice when we are singing. And she loves giving very noisy hugs to her stuffed animals that sound like she's messing her pants. She's such a sweetie and we love her to pieces!

Fun family weekend

We had a great weekend with some of our family. Not everyone was able to make it, but maybe next time! My Dad and Gail and my sisters Juli, Robyn and Tiffany and their families came to visit us here. It was such a party. My sister's families all stayed at our house and my Dad and Gail stayed at a Motel. We sure enjoyed all of the company! Here's some pic's of the weekend: My sister Juli and her kids got here first on Friday. Her husband Arik couldn't make it this time because he's a Highway Patrolman - it's a busy weekend for them. But we're so glad she came anyway! She played on the twister with Kaiya. The other kids had fun on the swings and running around in the sprinkling rain.

We went to the Highschool for some basket ball playing. My sister's Juli, Tiff and I played H-O-R-S-E. Juli won, Tiff was second and I was the loser, but it was lots of fun playing around with them. Burke and Randy played a much more advanced game that we didn't want to get involved in, but they had lots of fun in their game too. The kids played like they were aligators and just had fun being kids.

Here's some pictures back at the house. All of the girls were dressed up in their stripes - not on purpose. Burke read the kids books to help them calm down before bedtime. The first night the kids slept in the same room. That was a fun sleepover. They did pretty well too. And there were lots of four wheeler rides. Thanks to Randy and Tiff for bringing it along with them! That was so much fun.

We took everone to gool ol' Goblin Valley. We climbed, explored and even surfed on rocks. Then we ate lunch and it began to sprinkle. Perfect timing. It wasn't hot at all which was nice for a change there.

Guitar Hero was played A LOT! My sister's husband Steve brought it to share and everyone had a lot of fun. Especially the guys. After we put the kids to bed one night they played until about 2:30 in the morning! They loved that. And my sister's, Juli, Robyn and Tiffany had fun playing games, but we weren't crazy enough to stay up that late. We played a bit on our Nintendo Wii also and even got my dad and his wife Gail to try out Tennis. That was great. It's so much fun even to watch.

We all went across the street and put coins on the railroad tracks. We went back to the house and about 5 minutes later the train came. It was nice they didn't have to wait too long to get their smashed coins. That was great.

We went to the beach. Yes we have a beach in Green River! The kids played in the sand and got real messy with mud. They loved every second of it! Then the boys headed out on the four wheeler to chase lizards and explore. We LOVED having every one here to have fun with us. Thanks for coming!!!

Zero to One is so much fun!

OK, so that was a cheesy title. It was on a scrapbook idea I saw before. It is true though! Katelin turned one yesterday. It's been so much fun watching her grow and learn. I love this picture of her in the hospital with her one eye peeking open. She's so precious. We got her this cute play phone for her birthday and she loves it. She puts it to her ear to talk and then gives it to us when the person wants to talk to us. She's not feeling great so we're going to do her cake today. So more #1 b-day pic's to come. To be continued....

Trip to Moab

Burke's uncle Darrell does tours at different national parks and they come through Green River on their trips. So we got to hang out with him over the weekend. Our Stake conference was this past Sunday. We get to go to Moab for ours. So we got to visit Darrell again on Sunday since they were in Moab then. We have a year pass to the national parks, so we went on a walk in the Arches and saw him again. He also showed us this cool park in Moab that has all of these huge musical instruments to make fun music with. It was a nice weekend.

End of School!!!! :)

Last Friday at the Elementary they had Mommies and Muffins. It was fun to go eat breakfast with Kaleb and the girls at his school. Then we got to read books together for a bit before class began and I also got some shots with friends and ofcourse with his wonderful teacher. He's done - he passed Kindergarten!!! Yayeee. He's enjoyed being able to stay home this week and do whatever. I still throw in some learning stuff, but he doesn't seem to mind. It's neat to see how much he's learned. OK, that's my 5th post in a row now! Since my internet has been down a lot has happened, so read up!
