Aladdin @ Tuachan

After Melon Days was over, we took off Monday with Ryan, Erin and Quentin to St. George to see Aladdin.  It was just such a pretty drive and amazing weather.  Just perfect.
Kaiya got a hold of the camera...

CUTE kids!  We got there early so we could eat dinner there and not have to rush.  It was a BEAUTIFUL night!  We loved being able to get an awesome parking spot, take time eating, have time to look at the gift shop and watch the pre-show - a lady sang for everyone outside of the main stage area.  She was awesome!
The kids had way too much fun with these...things.  Hahaha, what ARE they called.  Put your head in picture thingys?!

We were so happy we were able to go with Ryan, Erin and Q to see Aladdin, it was great!  BUT next time we must wait for a time Burke can come.  I'm done being a single mom on little trips!  :)  AND he would enjoy it too.  Katelin was super tired, how did I forget that happened last year too?!  She had a bit of a melt down, but finally fell asleep, thank goodness!  She said "Mom, my eyes are shutting, we have to hurry and go to the car so I can sleep."  Poor thing, finally she just let them shut and I was able to watch the rest of the show.  WHEW!

Melon Days - Saturday 15th

Saturday morning Kaleb, Juli, Arik & Boston, Robyn, Tiffany and I all woke up early and ran in the Melon Run.  I was SO happy to have so much family run with me this year.  It's usually been myself or me and Juli.  So this was AWESOME!!!  Kaleb surprised me with wanting to go and he took off and I never saw him again until the end.  I am so proud of him for doing it!  :)

After we showered up we headed over to the parade where there was a LOT of candy thrown at us.
CUTE cousins!!!

Erin eating a PEACH at a MELON days parade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love the Watermelon leggings we found for Kate!
Robyn needed a pic with the BIG watermelon.  She was saluting the flag in front of it...not the Watermelon.  Just to clarify.  That WOULD be funny though!  Hahaha!!!!
CANDY time!!!!!
Arik's dream Highway Patrol car.
Juli showing us the running man, not realizing I had my camera ready...I'm ALWAYS ready JULI!
Tiff joining her.  They crack me up.
Tiff dolled up her shirt with a few snips her and there and tie it up, DONE and stylish!
Katelin and Reagan with their candy stash.
Burke in his favorite spot.  We were all up watching the parade.  He had to sit to make it worth it we brought the chairs.  Hahaha!

There were some wars going on with the boys.  There was even a little blood shed.  It was hilarious.
We loved the truck rides from Ryan.
Park time!!!  Blow up slides and Melon.  Mmmmmm.
It was also Quentin's birthday, Happy # 7 Q!!!
Wii and movies were played on the BIG screen.
Songs were sung.
Games with shaving cream and Cheetos were played.

WHEW!!  What a FUN Melon DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Melon Days, Friday the 14th

We LOVE Melon Days with the fam!!!!  Juli's family showed up first.  So the party began.
We made dinner and then the girls went to the pageant.  We loved watching Kaiya and Katelin dance as a show opener to Bad to the Bone.  It was adorable!!!

They also escorted the Queen's down the stage.  So sweet.  :)

Katelin had to pose with her "mean face" that she used in her dance.  hahaha!  I LOVE it!  :)

This was Katelin's first time on the stage.  She did SO great!  I was glad Kaiya could be on there with her and do her thing.  She did such a great job also.

Katelin sat on Kaiya's lap for a little while to watch the show.
Katelin escorted, Robin Nelson.  And Kaiya escorted the previous years Queen, Sydney Thayne.
Robyn and Juli came with their girls to watch also.  The boys stayed home and played the Wii.
