Burke took Kaleb and Kaiya to the Geiser yesterday. We've never been lucky enough to be there when it goes off, but we hear it still does like every 12 hours or something, but we have no clue when to go check. We just need to stay there all day sometime...or not. We'll just keep trying. They went to give me time to finish reading Fire and the Covenant. I've been trying to get through it for a while now and it's from our library so I keep renewing it over and over again. So they went and Katelin took a nap and I finished! I'm so glad too because I got a bit depressed reading it. I didn't think I could really be affected by a book like that, but I was. It was so sad to hear all of the stories they went through to get here and in the winter! Oh, I just ached for them. I knew it had a happy ending, but it was hard to get to it. It's interesting the different trials we all have to go through to either prove ourselves, strengthen our testimonies or just stand for what we believe in. They may look down upon some of us and be grateful for the challenges they went through because they just wouldn't be able to bear ours. And we look at theirs the same way. I really think we were all put on earth at the time in which we would learn the most from our own trials of our day and that's how we will really become who we are supposed to be.
Back to the kids - they had a great time on their litte outing with dad - especially cause they go and get treats everytime they go do something. He's such a fun dad.
