Making GOO

The kids wanted to make goo.  The only thing we were missing was Borax.  Luckily are awesome friends, the Nielson's had some!!  Yayayayaya!!!!!!!  They came over and we ate and hung out and made goo.

 Jamison learned to jump rope...
 The kids mixed and kneaded...

...and Jamison talked on the phone, hehehehe.
 Jaci liked to watch.

Audri too, I think they did poke their finger in it once.
Then you have to make a face like this:
They've had days of fun with this stuff.
THANKS for hanging out you guys!!!!!!!1
AND duck duck goose.  So fun!

Ottley Family Reunion

Here's some pics from our fun Ottley reunion last month.  We always love these get together's.  We were only sad that Burke couldn't come with us.  Volleyball landed on it again.  Maybe next year.  :)
We met at Grandma Ottley's first in Aurora and had breakfast.
Tiff was showing Robyn how to use her NEW phone.  She's the gal to ask, for sure!
Lonnie let the kids throw a ball for her dog.  That was quit a popular event.
Kaleb's silly face pose, little nut!  Hahaha!
We let the kids run to the park from Grandma's house.  We have a lot of kids between us all!
The little old ladies we found there.  They kept asking if we'd seen their teeth.  Emily introduced herself as an old lady that is 39.....poor OLD thing!!!!!!!!  WHAT!?!!
Kaleb posed strangely for Jordan as he took pics of him.  They really do find their own kind of fun.
 And then look and laugh.
Ellen reminded Kaleb how to start boondoggle.

 Dad and Jeannie.
 Dad and Gail, cuties!
 Para-cord bracelet making.
Dad shared some family history with us and had Grandma Ottley come up and sit by him.  She began counting us all while we laughed.  She's so fun.
My dad makes the coolest family history diagrams and has them printed at Kinkos, sweet!
He had Grandma give out a sucker when she got a hug.
Robyn and Tiff sang a lot, I joined them for a bit.  That was really fun.  Mostly hymns.
Gordon and Gail watching the fun.
Oakley always has a pose for me.
Starting to shoot the bottle rockets they made out of 2 liter bottles.  Really cool!!
Kaleb found a tiny Barbie scooter to ride, I think it's Oakley's.  Perfect.
Our auction to raise money for the next reunion.  Everyone always loves this tradition.  Who ever wants to bring something can.

Another successful reunion.  Until next year....

Back to School

I always chuckle when I see this picture...Kaiya is ready and excited, but she's done this before so no biggie.  Katelin is posin' it up, and SO excited and ready to AWESOME 1st grade!  And then Kaleb and his forced smile, HHHHHHhhahahaha - he's wondering why he has to get a picture in front of this school for the millionth time and is only excited for school cause he got some cool new shirts.  BUT he is enjoying it now, as usual.

I don't think she was expecting pics at her desk, oops.  Such a cutie pie.
Katelin was all for it.  1st grade here she comes!!!
She shares a table with Ellie and Garrett. There are only 11 kids in her class.  Her teacher is Mrs. Hunt, one of my friends.  She is an amazing teacher.  Katelin is loving first grade.
They got to color this little person to look like themselves.
We had to do a second day too.  The second day was AWESOME too!
And you'll notice that there is not a picture of Kaleb in his classroom or even near it.  I just didn't even try, hahaha!  At least we go these ones.  Cute boy!

This and That

We got to go to Kaleb's first court of honor last month.  He received a bunch of awards for the things he passed off at scout camp.  He's already quit ahead for not even being 12 yet.  GO Kaleb!!

Kaiya's friend Collette had her and some other girls over to make these little simple dolls to give to a women's shelter - for their kids.  they liked learning how to make them...and then they left while us moms finished up and talked.  hahaha, they did as much as they could before they just HAD to have some play time.  It was fun.
One day when we were going to Salt Lake I looked in Kaiya's bag and just thought it was so cute how organized she was and had to snap a pic.  She has all of her vitamins and her bathroom cup with toothbrush and toothpaste and a brush.  And her clothes are nicely stacked.  I love it!
This is one of my routine would check ups for my leg.  I've had this wound that hasn't healed for about 3 months now.  I've been going to the wound clinic in Provo for about 2months.  It's starting to get better finally, I'm SO grateful.
This is the only day the kids have had to come with me.  I was amazed we squished them all into that tiny room, the door would barely open with the extra chair they put in there for them.  They were great.
