Trunk or Treat

Kaleb is a Power Ranger. He likes showing off of his muscles and doing lots of different super hero moves.

Katelin is a cute little leopard. It was harder than I thought it would be to put on her cute little whiskers and nose. She's a wiggly little thing.

Kaiya was so excited to be Snow White, one of her favorites princesses. She and Kaleb posed for quite a few pictures for their Opa this weekend. He took about 50 pictures just of these three. They had so much fun.

My sister Robyn invited us to their ward halloween party this weekend since we were down for the weekend. The kids had so much fun dressing up with their cousins and playing games and getting lots of candy with them.

Fishy face

This is Katelin's new fishy face she likes to do. It started out she'd do it mostly when she was eating. Now she's figured out she can do it just about anytime she wants. It's so cute. She's starting to sit up pretty well on her own now too and make different funny noises. It's so much fun watching her grow!

Kindergarten Kaleb

This is Kaleb's first school picture. We practiced smiling before pictures so that he would give a good smile rather than a silly smile, but I think maybe it made him think too much about which one he was going to use. So this is the smile he decided on in a split second. He's such a cutie. He's loving Kindergarten. He is the only child in his class though who still likes me to drop him off at his classroom door. I don't go in, but I can't just pull up, say bye and leave. I have the time though and if that makes him happy enough so he'll stay all day, I'm fine with it. But we have this thing where I drop him off and then I walk by his classroom window outside and Kaiya and I wave at him as we are walking to the van. Well his whole class has caught on that we do this now. So the other day I walked by and waved and all of the class was looking at me and waving too. It was so funny and cute.

Another fun filled weekend

This huge sand hill is just a little pull off to the side of the road when you are driving into Moab. It is so steep, I have to admit I was a big freaked out as they got higher and higher on it. I could just see Kaiya tumbling down. But she didn't.

Kaleb loved climbing up the rocks and finding nice places to sit. He looked so cute looking out over the land. He really loves the outdoors.

The Human Totem pole. Kaiya was tired so Burke carried her on his shoulders while holding Katelin in the Snuggley at the same time! What a dad.

We had such a nice time walking around together and seeing these beautiful arches. The weather was nice also. A bit windy, but then when we were done and heading home it got really windy and stormy. We had perfect timing for this trip.

Halloween Gingerbread House

The girls and I went to our cute little store "Melon Vine" this morning to pick up a few things after we dropped Kaleb off at school. In the front of the store they had this little adorable gingerbread house set up for Halloween. The store owner, Penny, said there were kits if we would like to buy one. So we did. It looked like a fun Halloween thing to do. But it was a lot harder to do then I thought it would be. The frosting was not easy to work with. So this is what ours turned out to look like (actually it looks better in this picture - that's nice). But it was still fun, the kids loved every minute. Anything that includes candy I guess, I mean look at Kaiya's candy face and teeth! She's lovin' it.

See, look at the box next to ours. That's what it's supposed to look like. Our roof kept caving in, it was hilarious.

Goblin Valley

We went to Goblin Valley today. It was lots of fun. We heard it's better to go this time of year so you don't get fried. I'm glad we did. There was a little breeze and so it was fun to run around. The kids loved it and of course didn't want to go.

our home

My friend Abby suggested I post some pictures of the home we are renting. It is a very old double-wide. It has lot's of wood paneling so we asked the owners if they'd mind if we painted some to make it a bit more homie. So we did! It feels more like home now.

Here's the "beauty" outside. Kaleb is pointing to the window where we put up our halloween decorations we made.

These are called the Book Cliffs. They are so pretty to drive up close to them. Sorry it's a far away picture. That's the view from our front yard.

This is the dining room. I painted the wall red and then we put up the strip of wall paper. We like it so much better. I like wood paneling, painted!

This is mine and Burke's room. I didn't get the kids and the babies room on here. I'll get them on later. We painted this room too. It looks lots better.

Kaiya's favorite dress up dress

Kaiya loves to dress up in this "Snow White" dress every day since Saturday. We were in Salt Lake over the weekend for conference and her Grandma Simmons told her she could borrow it since she loved it SO much. So everyday after we get back from bringing Kaleb to school she takes off her clothes and puts on the dress. Oh and the little head band thing always has to go with it. Omi gave that to her over the weekend too. And I know it's supposed to be tied behind her head under her hair, but Omi did it this way for all the girls for fun and so that's how it goes now. She doesn't look to excited in the picture cause she was in one of those "don't take my picture moods". But she's happy I took it now. :)

Chicken Pox baby

So Katelin is my first child with the chicken pox. You can see one up on the side of her forhead in this picture. She's got them spread out on her body, not bad though. I'm hoping no more will come. She's been such a good girl about it all though. I'm glad she's little and can't scratch yet! That helps a lot. I had shingles a couple of weeks ago so I was kind enough to share. Good mommie!
I had to put this one on too because I think it's so cute how she's trying to see me over the camera. She's 4 months old now and she rolls over when she wants to just out of the blue. It's adorable.

Soccer

Kaleb started soccer last week. He didn't want to do it, but I asked him to try it at least once. He assured me it would be his only time. When we got there he saw that the kids were all kids he knew from his kindergarten class. He was excited then. The whole time they were playing he had the biggest smile on his face. I was so happy. He was so excited to go again today and play.

I took the girls outside the other day to take their pictures in front of our pretty wild flowers growing in the front yard. Aren't they pretty! I sure love them.
