Pack Meeting

We had our pack meeting last night.  The Webelos helped out with a funny story, the leader would read a sentence and they had papers they would read one of the words to fill in the blanks.  There was a lot of laughing with this silly story.  It was cute.
Kaleb got some awards and then also got his Bear award and his Faith in God award.  It was really cool!  I'm so happy I got to be there this time.  Burke has a college class on Wednesdays and had to miss it.  Wish he could have been there too.

He even got to pin it on me.  He was worried about that, but he did a GREAT job!
Congrats Kaleb!!!  LOVE YOU!

Growing up

Katelin is getting so big.  She is getting ready to go to Kindergarten.  We had to go to the doctors for her shots.  She was all ready for them and then they ended up not having one she needed, so we're waiting for that to come in.  She wasn't excited about that shot, but was willing and ready to have it.  She's so cute!  She loves to talk to anyone and everyone.  She makes friends everywhere she goes.  She's going to do great in Kindergarten although she may get in trouble for talking too much.  Hopefully she will listen so that won't happen.  But she will have FUN, that's for sure!!!  :)

We also went to the dentist the other day and she was so brave in the hair and asked the dental hygienist question after question (even if she had stuff in her mouth) what everything did and what everything was.  The hygienist just smiled as she told her.  It was so cute.  She did have some cavities and I'm not looking forward to that!
Kaleb and Kaiya came in to see how Katelin was doing and they just laughed at her because she was being so cute.
She had me take many pictures of her in the waiting room.  Here's one of her blowing me a kiss.
We go to the dentist in Moab.  On the way home we were listening to music and singing and she got to sing in her play microphone she got as her prize at the dental office.  So much FUN!!!!  Kaiya had some cavities too, the first for both girls.  Kaleb had a first too with NO cavities!!!  What a swap!

How to be a Princess

Our YW and the Activity Days girls had a combined activity at the beginning of March.  They all dressed up beautiful to attend this party and learned just how to be a princess.  It's more than just letting people serve you and walking with a book on your head - hehehe.  The YW prepared classes which taught them how to be a Heavenly Princess, since they are all Daughters of a King.  The classes were about making choices, repentance, modesty, good hygiene and talents.  It was so much fun to walk around and hear our YW teach these young ladies how to make these good choices to be happy in life.  What a wonderful/fun/uplifting activity!  Afterwards, we took pictures and they ate cute cookies made by the YW also.

The Activity Days girls - which Kaiya is a part of now!  So fun she could be there with me.  :)  She loved it.
 All of our princess together.
Our YW who could make it.
I love this picture of Kaiya cracking up at something and Megan enjoying watching her.  So cute!

LOVE these girls!!!

Fun with Candice and little E

Candice and her little girl, that her and Josh are adopting SOON!, came to visit on their way back home to San Diego.  We can't post pictures with little E in them until she is adopted, so when that happens (within the next couple of months!) I am going to do the biggest post with her cute little face all over it!
We took them up to the Golden Ratio to hang out for a minute.  I know, I posted pics of us here a million times, but they hadn't been, so just enjoy it...again!
After we parked we thought this would be a cool place to take a picture of your car if you were wanting to sell it.  Hahaha!
Kaleb the Karate Kid.  And all of the pics with Candice in it had her little cutie too, so you will be seeing those later.  We LOVED having them here.  The kids just adore little E and she really loves them too and lets them love her to pieces. Oh and after we were done here we headed over to the school to work out.  Which is why we are all in work out clothes.

Trip to Cedar

Burke's cousin, Sky returned home from his mission in Italy.  We were excited to head over to Cedar City to see him and all the family.  We stayed in a hotel room, which had a pool - so the kids were super excited.  A lot of swimming happened!

Forest was able to get the church so we could all eat together and play games and volleyball and basket ball and just plain old talk.  It was really fun.
This is Cassie playing Hot Volleyball with Katelin and Kaiya.  Katelin made her her favorite friend right when we got there.  It was so cute. We went on walks, went swimming at the SUU campus, walked around the SUU campus.  It was a super fun weekend.  So glad we got to getaway with the kids.  We left on our 11th anniversary - March 9th - we were happy we were able to spend time together the weekend before to celebrate us.  It all worked out perfect.  It was wonderful to see Sky again and hear him speak.  He was a wonderful missionary.  I loved  his talk and the experiences he shared.  It's so neat to see the change that comes over people when they serve the Lord with all their heart.  I love it!

Wii time

This is how Katelin and Peter decided to play the Wii the other day.  I thought that was a funny way to play it.  They thought it was awesome, then they wouldn't get tired - since it's so tiring!!!  Hahaha!

The Getaway

Burke thought it would be fun if we went and stayed in Richfield to watch our boys basket ball team play at state this year.  Cyndy came and stayed with the kids and Burke and I left Thursday after school.  It was really fun watching the games with just the two of us because we could actually watch!  A lot of people her in GR watch the game online through My Sports Guys.  Burke and I were on the screen and I got texts and FB messages that people saw us on there.  It was so fun to be famous!  Hahaha!

After the game on Thursday the roads looked like this:

I was so happy we didn't have to drive home and felt bad for the people who did!  It took them three hours to get back, an extra hour than normal.  :(  scary!

My friend, Taffee told us of some fun places to eat.  We ended up finding this place Pepper Belly's, it just worked out, it was awesome.  It was an adorable place and yummy too.

Had to share some fried ice cream too.
The next morning we headed over to Manti to go to the Temple.  It was wonderful!  So glad we got to go.
We had ice cream at this place (like cold stone) called the Piggy Bank.  We sat at the tall stools by the window and decided to take a reflection shot of us.  Sweet!

What a fun time!  We also walked down the sidewalk and went into any little shops we wanted too.  Our anniversary was a week away, so we counted this as our Anniversary getaway.  So glad we went and that Cyndy could come and stay with the kids.  They loved spending time with her also.
