Father's Day

 Kaleb stayed up and made him this "dad" out of  legos.  We were really impressed, it's so cute!

 These kid survey's always crack me up.  They did some in Primary too, I've got to post those also.  Katelin said Burke was 100 years old in that one.  Hahahahaaaaaaaaa!

 We did a photo shoot a couple weeks before and got this printed out for him, he loves it.

 This is a shirt we traced this little town onto and got some sweet cars the kids could play on his back while he rests on Sundays.  Haha, that was a fun project.  They colored it all.

We had a fun Father's Day celebrating Dad/Burke.  He is such a fun/patient/loving dad and we're lucky to have him.  :)

 We went to church with Grandma on Sunday and then afterwards the kids rode their bikes while Burke and I walked to the Cemetery to see Grandpa Ottley's grave site.  It was nice to hang out and relax there.  The kids rode on the little paved areas between the grassy areas. 

 The kids loved Grandpa's old School Bus, which he used as a tool shed.  Sweet stuff!

Ottley Family Reunion

 Our reunion this year was held on Grandpa Quentin Ottley's birthday, June 9th.  It is always fun getting together with whoever can come.  Dad was in charge this year.  He did a great job.  A bunch of us camped in Grandma's backyard.  That is always nice that we have a place to stay so close to the park.  It was really windy that weekend, that was the only down thing.  So we didn't get to do everything we wanted to outdoors.
We met in the scout cabin at the park to prepare food and also in the back room dad talked a bit about our family history.  That was cool. 
Boston was entertained by my camera.  Hahaha!  I would take pictures of him and show them to him and he loved it.

 My dad had this huge genealogy fan printed out and had other pictures and stories to share.  We loved it. 

 Grandma Ottley played her Meet me under the Apple Tree song she plays every morning.  She said that she has to play it everyday so that Grandpa will remember up in Heaven to wait for her and not put anyone in her place.  Ooooooh, she's so sweet, he could NEVER forget her!  :)

 Afterwards there were races and games for the kids. 

 Reagan and Katelin tied up for the tree legged race.  That was too funny!

 This is our auction, Kendall always does a great job.

 They had a lot of kid books this year that all the kids put tickets in for, it was a great idea.

 Nicki won the apple tree painting by Jeannie and told Grandma she had won it.  It was so sweet.  Grandma was so happy to have it.

 Erin asked us to bring some wheatgrass, and this girl was the juicer.  Wheatgrass all around!

 The guys played some b-ball, it was all of the husbands from our family - Tiff said they should have their team name be The In-laws.  Hahaha!  We just needed Erin out there.  :)

Chicken girl

 Katelin is our little chicken girl.  One day we looked out back and saw her with one of the little ones and she climbed up the deck and sat on top and just hung out with the little chick.  We all laughed as we watched her.  Then we went out and I videoed her, I'll have to get that on here sometime.  It is so funny!

She sings and talks to them.

 And tells them who's boss.

 Doesn't even mind if then try to defend themselves and peck her finger, she just holds them a different way and talks to them.  She is so much fun to watch.
