My friend, Taffee, told me about Picmonkey.com. I used to use Picnik.com, but that site is no longer an option. ANYWAY, it's a great site to edit photos and you can make stuff too. I made this one to put as my computer wallpaper, it's just a GREAT reminder and I love this quote. I would actually like to do it over, it's just not right yet, I've done another one for something else, but can't find it. It is really fun, so try it out if you want too.
I love this quote because it reminds my of the Bible Dictionary definition of prayer. He is just waiting to bless us, but we must ask, and I love how Elder Holland added that we must also dream. Don't just stay the same all the time because it's "safe" or "familiar", but dream and move forward. Isn't it amazing what happens when we do that and Heavenly Father is right there to help us do something we never thought we could??? I love that.

Visit from the BEESLEY's
Juli and her kiddos came to visit us while Arik was at Scout camp. We loved having them visit, and taking them around to see things around us they have and haven't seen. We went to the Crystal Geyser. Little Boston got soaking wet and ended up in his diaper and happy as can be by the end.
CUTE girls drinking their yogurt smoothies.
They hadn't been to the beach yet, so we went! It was a great day for it too, the water really cooled us down in the hot sun.
This is my sculpture of the book cliff behind it - haha, that was fun. I don't play in the sand enough.
MUD DAD. He's the best. The kids had a blast getting him all dirty.
Afton kept bringing me clay from the water bottom, ewe.
Katelin also, and she tried to sculpt it.
These turkey vultures were awesome. There were a bunch of them just sitting on these posts.
My friend, Heather, game me dried flower heads so I could plant them and I did...WOW, they are HUGE and I love them. Next year I will spread the love elsewhere instead of dumping them all here. Hahaha!
I handed Juli Burke's guitar and she played and sang for me. I had my own mini concert. It was awesome!
We roasted hotdogs and marshmallows in our fire pit out back. That's always a good time.
More on our fun visit later with ARCHES pics. :)

Kate
On our way home from Salt Lake we had to stop for some shopping, which is normal. Burke had to stay home since volleyball had begun. We left at a good time in the morning that we didn't need to rush. It was so nice. I fee like we are always hurrying back, hurrying up our shopping, hurry, hurry, HURRY! So we weren't and it was wonderful. Katelin wanted to stop and see this statue, and I said "OK". It was fun. Didn't take a lot of time and made her smile. Love times like those.
Ryan's 37th b-day = Wicked
Ryan and Erin surprised all of us siblings and parents with Wicked tickets for Christmas! We were VERY surprised and SUPER excited!!! The cutest thing that the date they chose to go was August 8th, Ryan's birthday. So after a long wait, August finally came and we went to WICKED!!! It was so wonderful. First we went to the New Yorker for dinner. YUM.
Mom and Dave. Sweeties.
All of us dinner going folk. Dad and Gail met us at the theater.
We are all full and ready to GO! We even got to ride the shuttle bus over from the New Yorker and they picked us up! No trying to find parking and being stuck in a traffic mess. That was a prize in and of itself!
Wow, afterwards I just wanted to see it again. So I did the next best thing and listened to the sound track all the way home the next day. My kids asked all sorts of questions and love it now too. They know the songs, especially Kaiya. And the girls love listening to the music LOUD and singing their hearts out. Yes, it's adorable.
Chalei watched our kids and Quentin and had a great time. Before we got the kids in bed Katelin decided to take Sally for a ride in the mini shopping cart, haha - too cute!

We all had to try on Daves eye glass binoculars, don't we look awesome in them! Hahahaha!
The delicious salad, well half - Tiff and I shared this and some salmon. It was delicious! We are all full and ready to GO! Raw foods class
Ryan, Erin, Tiffany, Robyn and I took this Raw foods class with Omar. He owns the Rawtopia restaurant in Sugarhouse. It was a wonderful class. I will update this later with notes from the class. Here are some pictures of this amazing salad with guacamole side and awesome dressing!
ONE more family photo...
They wanted one more in the backyard after church. Cute little grandkids!
Normal and crazy photos, love that.
This is a better view of the backyard Blake and Sharise created. Pretty amazing!
